The Kenya Kwanza government abruptly reversed course, acceding to Raila’s demands for an investigation into the election servers.
The requests of the opposition leader are granted, but the administration of President William Ruto makes him wait a long time for justice. Raila had previously demanded that the government conduct an audit of the polling servers, but they have now decided to do so.
Mr. Odinga will have to wait a while to discover the truth, as he claims to have lost his election in a murky fashion.
Even though they have agreements to release the servers, Majority Leader Kimani Ichung’wah has informed him that they lack the necessary officials to do so. Therefore, he must complete the lengthy process of appointing new IEBC commissioners.
Six individuals are being selected to fill vacancies created by retirements and resignations at the electoral agency.
