Migori town become another county in Luo Nyanza to obey Azimio la Umoja head Raila Odinga’s calls for nationwide demonstrations against President William Ruto’s administration.

This is after Kisumu City residents on Friday paralyzed transport and business activities in that Lakeside City as they got out to demonstrate over high cost of living.

Today Migori, the residents came out in their large numbers and stormed the streets of Migori town as they demanded for better treatment from the government.

The residents, who were reportedly angry were carrying twigs, empty sufurias and cooking sticks demonstrated in Migori as they sang anti-government songs.

The demonstrations has hit Migori town as the county is now preparing to host the regional meeting that brings about 11 counties from Nyanza and Western Region.

Apart from transport that was totally paralyzed as the residents mounted boulders on roads leading to neighboring Tanzania, business activities were also brought to their knees.

The Star reports that business people closed down their shops in Migori town as they feared being looted by their own men and women who were demonstrating.
