The incumbent Head of State President William Ruto and the vocal veteran opposition leader Rt Hon Raila Odinga have finally formed a pact to enable the ODM party and UDA camp to work together as a broadbased government ahead of the 2027 General Elections.
Raila and Ruto who were big political enemies in the 2022 General elections have grown to be political brothers forming a broadbased government that is aimed in ensuring inclusivity of Kenyans from different political outfits, foster national unity and deliver on the election manifestos to the people.
Speaking after signing agreements to work together, President William Ruto has showed Baba with praises and had this to say:
“I must congratulate Raila Odinga and the courage he has to make difficult decisions. Not many leaders can make the kind of decisions he can make. Very few people can put the interest of the nation above their personal interest. Raila, history is going to judge you fairly for what you have done for this nation, I want you to be treated well and I will do whatever it takes make sure that you have respect in Kenya.”
