Peter Salasya, an MP, was seen commentating and livestreaming during parliamentary sessions. He talked about Kimani Ichungwah during the livestream, pointing out that Hon. Sifuna, the minority leader in the national house, had taken Ichungwah’s position.
Kimani Ichungwah asked the speaker to ask Salasya to apologize after the incident. Salasya apologized and took down the videos as a result. After Wetangula failed to raise his hand when he intended to talk regarding the house leadership today, Salasya acknowledged that he was snapping selfies. Salasya’s arguments have been mirrored by Kameme FM.
Benard Mwayi questioned if youth are truly capable and prepared to assume leadership roles. In his response to the inquiry, Allan observed that Salasya remarked, “Mr. Speaker, I don’t understand what you are talking about, maybe I confirm what I was doing.” If a child is not paying attention, they will find anything to occupy their time, Irene said, adding that it’s acceptable.
