In a live video Azimio One Kenya Alliance leader Raila Omollo Odinga led press briefing accompanied by his close associates and other political leaders. This happen after the police officers declared a today’s demonstrations were declared unlawful. As vandalism and destruction of properties cases were reported and witnessed by Kenyans.
Addressing the nation, Mwangi Wa Iria delivered this message to Kikuyu community. Mwangi Wa Iria Warned Kikuyu Community against leaders spreading hatred against baba. Saying that it’s indeed sad that some political leaders are busy spreading propagandas and hatred to Kikuyu community against Raila Omollo Odinga and his tribe. Urging Kikuyu community that they shouldn’t follow such leaders because we are all Kenyans regardless of our cultural and tribal differences. And Raila is fighting for all Kenyans rights and the reduction of the prices of basic commodities.
“Mimi ningewaomba wa Kikuyu hii mjadala ya ukabila tunaletewa tukome. Huu mjadala wa ukabila ukome. Na kwangu ningependa kusema pole Kwa makabila hizi zingine na haswa wa jaluo Kwa sababu huo uhasama haujatoka Kwa wakikuyu imetoka Kwa viongozi wachache. Ambao wanajua ya kwamba iliwaweze kusikiza na Wananchi wa kawaida lazima wa mention Raila. Poleni sisi hatufikirii namna hiyo”, says former Governor Mwangi Wa Iria.
