Cabinet Secretary for Public Service Performance and Delivery Management Moses Kuria has regretted the arrest of Meru Governor Kariwa Mwangaza as he has sent a special message to police officers who arrested her.

Taking it to his twitter account, the minister termed the arrest as an harassment to government officers something that he called to come into a stop, he claimed that the current administration is not like the previous regime which used to harass political leaders who sided with President Ruto (then Deputy President)

“It is wrong to harass Governor Kawira Mwangaza in exactly the same way the other government was harassing some of us,” Moses Kuria posted.

This comes shortly after police officers in Meru arrested and harassed Governor Kawira Mwangaza where they released her few hours later as they apologized claiming that it was mistaken identity something that has now left many kenyans talking on they could not identify the governor before the arrest.
