Rigathi Gachagua, the deputy president, today urged Azimio leaders to cease bugging Kimani Ichungwa and Ndindi Nyoro about the Northlands raid. A farm connected to former president Uhuru Muigai Kenyatta, Northlands, was invaded by unidentified goons who took advantage of the present situation and stole goods worth millions of shillings.
Following the raid, numerous Kenyans from all walks of life accused the two leaders of Mount Kenya of reportedly organizing and paying goons to rob Uhuru’s properties. On March 29, 2023, the second in command warned Azimio leaders to stop attacking the great leaders from the Mount Kenya area while speaking to Kenyans. According to Gachagua, Ndindi Nyoro and Kimani Ichungwa are potential leaders.
“Leave Kimani Ichung’wah and Ndindi Nyoro alone. If you want to know who we are, ask Uhuru Kenyatta,” DP Gachagua said.
Raila was also forewarned by Gachagua that they would not be intimidated or subject to extortion. On Thursday, he disclosed that both the wealthy and the poor will have adequate protection.
“Raila has a history of causing property damage everywhere he goes. Kenyans should start their enterprises tomorrow and report to work. Intricate plans have been made by the government to safeguard Kenyans’ lives and property. The real problem is not the expense of living because when Raila was in office, unga was Ksh. 230, but he did not show it. He continued, “He wishes to enter the government via a back door.
