CS Alfred Mutua has reacted through his official facebook page hours after the he accompanied president William Ruto to the commissioning of the Mavoko Drinking Water in Athi River.

According to him he told Machakos Residents that Azimio Maandamano will fail because president William Ruto will deliver his promises to Kenyans.

“I have today joined President William Ruto in commissioning the Mavoko Drinking Water Supply project in Athi River.

I was quite pleased because in 2018, while Governor of Machakos, I broke ground and launched the project. Once President Ruto got into Office, he made sure that this project, which was funded by the National government, was fully operational, with the President later launching it.

We addressed a public rally at Madaraka grounds where the President enumerated the various water development programs for the Ukambani region and the country.

Taking cue from the President who said that this was the time for development and not sufurias on the head and maandamamo, I explained why the current Azimio agitation was bound to fail.

The same band of politicians said Moi must go. President Moi served his term and retired well. The same team said Kibaki just go. Kibaki also served his two terms. They then said Uhuru and Ruto just go. They also served their terms. Now they are saying Ruto must go. As history has shown, President Ruto will serve his terms and thereafter, God will appoint the new President for Kenya.

I also congratulated Machakos Governor Wavinya Ndeti for continuing on the development agenda that I initiated as the first Governor of Machakos. I urged all to support her so that she could succeed and even perform better than I did because it is the people who benefit.

All in all, it was a great day of development and politics of prosperity”. Said CS Alfred Mutua.
