National Assembly Speaker Moses Wetangula on Sunday,June 11, signaled the start of the process to alter the Competency Based Curriculum (CBC) after members of the public raised concerns.

Speaking during a church service in Elgeyo Marakwet, Moses revealed that he had asked President William Ruto’s government to consider ways to incorporate public views into the program rollout.

He added that while he did not call for the abandonment of the curriculum as a whole,it’s a fundamental that it undergoes certain changes in some aspects of it.

“I have asked the ruling leaders to consider reviewing the new education system to ensure effective implementation and they should priorities discussing issues raised by the citizens,” the former Bungoma senator stated.

The system is good and those who proposed it mean well In shaping the destiny of our youth and for the country’s progress.i do support what he is saying since many parents have failed to oblige with expensive requirements needed.
