Members of Nairobi Business Community, a group of Nyamakima traders that played a huge role in the restoration of peace in Nairobi CBD during 2017 and 2023 Opposition protests are now warning President William Ruto and his Deputy President Hon Riggy G that they aren’t short of options regarding the political future in 2027.
Speaking as reported by the Nation on March 23, the group of businessmen and women warned that if the Kenya Kwanza Government won’t address the issues that Ruto promised them in the run-up to the 2022 general election, they will be forced to chart a different political route ahead of 2027 general election.
Particularly, the group is said to have been irked by the decision by the Ruto Government to fail to provide adequate space to do business, brutal county askaris as well as punitive taxes by KRA.
