The Kikuyu MP, Hon. Kimani Ichung’wah, claimed this morning that the Mount Kenya region is being deliberately set up to worship a single leader.
The congressman expressed his disgust that some people still believe that employing the same tactics from 2018 to 2022 will be successful in keeping President William Ruto out of the State House race.
Ichung’wah said that nothing will force people to purchase fear and that anything connected to tribalism has no place in President William Ruto’s administration, without naming specific individuals.
“We grew stronger as they grew more intense. Despite this widespread use with high-level approval, they ultimately used it against President William Ruto, who was able to win the election and take office as president of Kenya.
Right now, this one is beneath him. Because we are more experienced, we will not be duped into playing the ethnic card, employing outdated and ineffectual tactics, or even attempting to make us all idolize a single individual. That is not going to happen. Nobody has us as property. On X, Ichung’wah wrote, “One NATION, one FLAG, and one PEOPLE.”
