Narc Kenya Party leader Martha Karua has implored the Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Alliance supporters to have white handkerchiefs on March 20th during the anticipated mas action in Nairobi.
Speaking in Kilifi County on Monday during the Azimio anti-government rally, Karua said the handkerchiefs will be a proof that their rally is peaceful and in line with the constitution.
“For those who will avail themselves here in Kilifi or in Nairobi on March 20, come with white handkerchiefs to show that we are peaceful people, and we want the police not to interfere with our constitutional right,” said Karua, listen to her remarks in this VIDEO from minute 12:02.
Karua’s remarks were endorsed by Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka who said that the Azimio team has been conducting peaceful rallies, and that will not change.
“We will conduct demonstrations and no one will stop us. Just like Martha has said, let us carry white handkerchiefs to show how peaceful we are. We have said that no one will steal our votes and at the same time steal our unga.”
