Pauline Njoroge has criticized Kimani Ichung’wa, calling him a particularly conceited politician. Ichung’wa is more likely than any other politician in recent memory to criticize someone of being arrogant while also displaying this trait, according to Njoroge. She pointed out that he frequently refers to Mount Kenyans who disagree with Ruto or who have different political opinions in a condescending and degrading manner.

Ichung’wa had also made derogatory remarks, referring to one individual as “just a chalk holder,” dismissing another as “a class 8 dropout,” and asking how “a sweeper in a county” could comprehend the basics of the national economy, according to Njoroge. The charges claim that he called one governor “clueless” and another “just a villager.”

Additionally, Njoroge highlighted Ichung’wa’s obvious contempt for those he views as socially and economically inferior, arguing that such views are especially regrettable coming from a leader who is meant to represent individuals from a range of socioeconomic backgrounds.
