The national wide curfew was recently uplifted and Kenyan men could not contain their excitement.
Women on the other hand are not pleased and most wish the curfew would have stayed a little longer.
Truth be told, most wives have spent more time with their husbands during the curfew time than they have done since they got married.
Here are simple but effective ways the curfew helped curb infidelity

  1. Lock-down
When the curfew was enacted, there was a lockdown at some point and that meant people could not criss-cross counties like they are used to.
People whose side chicks and side dudes are in other counties had to suffer long periods of dry spells.
It made some people realize that cheating is expensive and it’s never that serious.
  2. Babysitting
Truth be told most men never know how their kids are fairing as long as they have catered for their bills.
Most men are egocentric and assume helping a child do homework or playing with them is a woman’s role.
The curfew however taught them that what a woman can do a man can do better. By the time one would be done with babysitting they would be too tired t even think of straying.

Kenyan is a drinking nation and most people cannot imagine spending their weekends at home.
But with the government directive asking bars to be closed early, most men had to be home early enough for dinner.
They had not had much time to interact with akina Ciku, Njeri, and Njoki.
Although they are not saying it loud most women were happy to have their men at home and that is evident with the high number of ‘Corona babies.’
