Roots party leader Hon. George Wajackoya took to his official socials and published a post where he revealed about how important his UK based son’s visit to Kenya for the first time since he was born was so important. Wajackoya stated that, the moment his son landed in Kenya, he took him to important people for him to meet with them and at least receive some blessings.
He captioned the said post saying, ” My son’s first visit to Kenya was a learning lesson. I took him to Bishop J J Gitahi’s church in Kasarani as a mark of honor and respect. From there we visited the ACK Bishop of Maseno North in Siaya county. We then proceeded to Indangalasia where the clan elders of Murono clan inducted him into our Wanga traditions.” He wrote.
To Hon. Wajackoya, it was so vital for his son to learn some one and twos about Kenya given that his roots are here despite the fact that he was born and raised in UK. During that time, Wajackoya was spotted all over with his him. He took him to various areas in Kenya so that he could get familiar with his mother land. He celebrates him as his first born son in him, he sees a lot of potential and possibly, he would be the one who might end up being like him in future on matters politics and leadership in Kenya.
