Popular Kikuyu artist Nebster Muhiko breathed his last on October 17, 2022, after a short illness.The news of his passing left his family and fans in mourning since he was very strong and nobody thought he would die that soon. Muhiko in the Kikuyu music industry, was widely celebrated for his contributions to the genre. His musical journey touched the hearts of many, and his legacy in the industry remains undeniable.
Some hours ago Muigai Wa Njoroge who was Muhiko’s best friend and Karangu Muraya visited his family and his first born son who is around 30 years explained how his father died. According to him, his sister called him at night around 2am screaming saying their father was not talking. He took his car very fast and came home only to find his father unable to do anything and he couldn’t respond.
He dressed him up to take him to hospital where he called Muigai Wa Njoroge and pastor JJ Gitahi since he knew they could help him get better medical access very fast but he could not reach them. He called his friend from referral hospital and he said he was on shift and they should get there faster. They found doctors ready waiting for them and he was admitted. He called Karangu Muraya who sent him ten thousand.
After some minutes Muhiko come back to normal and he started talking. The first thing he asked was if he was able to reach Muigai Wa Njoroge meaning he was hearing everything although he could not talk. He went ahead and said his son was driving carelessly and he should stop that. They were asked to go for a city scan and the ambulance was ready. They brought the ambulance bed to take him which he refused.
He said he was going to walk by himself asking everyone to leave him alone. Immediately he sat on hospital bed the blood pressure immediately moved from 150 to 170 and they realized it was dangerous. They had brought him in hospital when it was at 200 which was normal because sometime back he brought him to hospital when it was at 240 and he went back home alive.
While he was still sitting he got something like a heart attack and his body became very hard. Doctors came very fast and they were asked to walk out and after two minutes they were told their father was no more.
