Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua tells Kikuyu member of parliament Hon Kimani Ichungwa to stop looking down up or rather pride during fund raising in kianyaga school in Kirinyaga county. The second in command has also promised to build his former school by supporting certain projects.
According to the video clip seen by the writer online, Hon Rigathi Gachagua said that the lawmaker ‘wacha Madharau yako wewe’ meaning he should stop looking down upon or rather ‘arrogant’ because he studied in Alliance unlike them, however this led to laughter from the crowd as he agreed with the deputy president that he will stop that.
While still speaking he asked Hon Kimani Ichungwa to mobilize MPs and help kenyans protect their businesses among other things ahead of Azimio’s mass action demonstrations on Monday, he took the instructions keenly before leaving the podium. Hon Gachagua has also said that the government is waiting for those who will hold demonstrations on Monday saying that they are organized according to the law. Watch full video here
