Chira, a TikTok sensation, died in a hit-and-run accident that involved a speeding lorry on Saturday, March 16, 2024.

Chira was the son of the late Sofia Wambui Chira, grandson of Esther Njeri, and nephew to Regina Njoki Chira and the late Alice Njoki Chira.

In the video, Chira is heard saying “RIP Chira” as he continues to explain what would happen five months after he recorded the said video.

Chira was no stranger to controversy and his online outbursts often landed him in trouble. At one point he blamed loneliness for his behaviour and asked for forgiveness from all those he had wronged.

“Everybody is now talking about me. Niliwaambia aje, in the next five months, you will be talking about Chira, nobody else. Mngoje tu. RIP Chira. Live zote, kila mtu ananiongelelea. We ngoja, ile pesa niko karibu kupata, utado,” Chira is heard saying.

Chira’s death came as a shock to many people, and since the announcement was made official, people started trooping to the City Mortuary to go and view his body
