Angry residents of Baringo County have expressed their frustration and discontent with President William Ruto, accusing him of failing to deliver on his promise to end banditry in the region.

During the burial of a man recently killed by bandits, mourners voiced their grievances, claiming that insecurity has worsened despite assurances from the president.

“Ruto promised us that banditry would end the moment he placed the Bible down, but instead, the killings have increased.

What kind of betrayal is this?” an emotional resident questioned during the burial.

Another elder lamented the ongoing loss of lives and described the situation as unbearable.

“The color of yellow has turned to red because of the bloodshed. We curse you, Ruto, for your false promises,” the elder declared.

Residents decried the government’s inability to restore peace and protect their communities, revealing that bandits continue to terrorize them daily.

They accused President Ruto of abandoning the very people who supported his administration with high expectations of change.

The escalating anger in Baringo reflects growing disillusionment with the government’s approach to addressing security challenges in the region.

Locals are now demanding urgent action to end the cycle of violence that has left many grieving and hopeless.
