The United States of America has warned Kenyans about possible terrorist attacks that may occur in different parts of Nairobi, Kenyan capital city as well as other parts of the country.

In a statement that was released on Wednesday, the United States of America warned its citizens to maintain a low profile and avoid that are frequently visited by foreigners and tourists.

The US listed the areas such as malls, restaurants, embassies, and markets. The USA stated that the areas are attractive to terrorists who are always keen to conduct such an evil act on innocent civilians. They also warned that the terrorists may attack with little or no warning.

The United States of America also warned its citizens to keenly follow local media for updates, and avoid areas that have demonstrations and protests as well as crowdy areas.

This comes as the government continues to beef up security in different parts of the country for the safety of its citizens. The Cabinet Secretary of the Ministry of Interior Professor Kithure Kindiki and his counterpart, Cabinet Secretary of the Ministry of Defense Hon Aden Duale expressed their confidence in defeating the terrorist group Al Shabaab that has claimed the lives of Kenyan people.
