Prophetess Monicah has advised Kenyans to be careful when choosing a partner.
The mother of two got married to the father of her first child not because they were in love but because she wanted to hide their deeds of fornication.
Speaking during an interview with Wambui Wa Mwangi, Monicah shared, “I got married after form four and got my son Jimmy who is turning 16.
He was a church member and I was the youth secretary and praise and worship member. He was not a stranger.
When we realized we had gone against our vows as Christians we went to our pastor who prayed for us and we started living together.”

Monicah added, “We did not know I was pregnant when we started living together. When my son came, I became busy being a mother and wife. We stayed for 2 years or less. We did not get married because we loved each other.
When we started living together we used to fight and argue a lot, because we bother felt we were not getting what we wanted from each other. We realized we could not live together and parted when my son was 1 year old.”
