After former Member of Parliament Jeremiah Kioni offered Uhuru’s message to the locals, there was a moment of loud cheering in Siaya.
In the video, Kioni, who had been asked to address the crowd, stated President Uhuru Kenyatta had dispatched him to express greetings and condolences to the families of the victims of police brutality. According to Kioni, Uhuru Kenyatta felt pain by the use of force by Ruto’s administration to disperse the peaceful protesters, which resulted in some deaths and other injuries that are still being treated.
Jeremiah Kioni added, “Kabla niseme mengi mniruhusu nilete salamu za Uhuru Kenyatta na pia amenituma pole zake kwenu kwa sababu tulikuwa pamoja na yeye kwa hata maafa,” as the mourners broke out in jubilation.
The huge memorial service held today for the twelve people killed by police violence in Siaya county wasn’t attended by UHuru Kenyatta, according to Kioni allegation, Uhuru was committed somewhere else.
