The former president Uhuru Kenyatta apologized to the people of Muranga and the Azimio leader Raila Odinga for missing the meeting. According to the former president, he could not make it in the meeting because he was actively engaged elsewhere.

It’s not the first time the Azimio Chairman Uhuru Kenyatta is apologizing for missing Azimio meeting. Uhuru previously apologized for missing the Azimio-OKA Parliamentary group meeting in Machakos County.
Uhuru Kenyatta has remained clear that his leader remains the Azimio leader Raila Odinga and not any other way. Uhuru has however kept off politics for Personal reasons and instead left president William Ruto to run his shows.
Uhuru Kenyatta failed to deliver Mt Kenya region to Azimio in the August 9th polls but there are hopes that such narrative might change in future elections. However, it’s a fact that President Ruto is not a person who can be dismissed that easily when it comes to politics.
