After the Azimio camp’s massive protest finally materialized, Kenya is in a precarious position today. The forking Prime Minister had made a number of demands of William Ruto, including lowering the cost of living, stopping the recruitment of IEBC commissioners, and opening the IEBC servers, among other things.

Ruto was given a deadline of 14 days by Raila, beyond which he threatened to storm the city in an effort to subdue him. Raila and his team finally assaulted the city after that notice expired and a new one-week notice was issued, sparking a massive protest across the entire city and the nation.

While the demonstration in the city went on, protestors across the nation joined in to call for the ruling party to be punished.
