Even as Azimio leader Raila Odinga crisscrossed the continent to strengthen his AU Chairmanship position quest, A UDA party MP has spelled doom for his candidature.
According to Kimilili MP Didmus Barasa, Raila Odinga could lose his bid if he fails to pull up his socks and get his papers ready for the interview. In an indirect attack on Raila, Didmus said the ODM boss had been telling them that he is an engineer and that it was high time for him to prove that through papers.
He warned that they have helped him as the government and should not blame anybody if he loses the seat at the long run. He mocked him, saying he should never relax and expect to clinch the seat.
“Sisi kama serikali tumetafutia yeye kazi ya kwenda kua chairman ya AU huko Addis Ababa. Sasa yeye atafute makaratasi, kama hana, kikiumana shauri yake , sisi kazi tumemtafutia. Alikua anatuambia yeye ni Engineer na tumeamini hivo, so ikifika wakati ya interview, akiendelea kulala ile usingizi analala wakati wa kutafuta kura, shauri yake,” stated Didmus

Raila has been busy meeting African leaders as he strategies himself to take over the seat. Already, he has secured a number o East African heads of state and is hoping to secure more in the coming months
