Award-winning Kenyan Boy Band Sauti Sol is set to share a stage with world stars Boyz II Men at the much anticipated Stanbic Yetu Festival today.Organizers of the Festival, Radio Africa Group and Stanbic Bank announced on Wednesday that they are delighted to welcome Sauti Sol to the concert of the year.The second edition of the Yetu Festival will be going down at Uhuru Gardens in Nairobi.Speaking during a Press Briefing in Kenya ahead of the Stanbic Yetu festival, The US band told.”At the time we did it, it was very healthy for us. It was 31 years, we met in school, that was pretty much our life, there was no break for us, so we got to a point where said fine too close.They broke up for two years.

Sauti Sol band captioned, This is a moment in music history. Two of the greatest groups of all time, Boyz II Men and Sauti Sol finally meet.

We can’t wait to see you all tomorrow! It’s going to be a night to remember.

However, Sauti Sol, recently announced their decision to go on an indefinite hiatus from the Kenyan music scene following the conclusion of their world tour.

In a statement to their fans, the popular group acknowledged they will be taking an indefinite hiatus, a term often used by bands as a way to soften the impact of a breakup on their loyal supporters, despite the underlying truth being rather harsh.

Sauti Sol consists of four members namely Bien-Aimé Baraza who doubles up as the lead vocalists and songwriters for the group.

The others are Willis Chimano, Savara Mudigi and Polycarp Otieno.
