In a united front, Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has come to the defense of Cabinet Secretary Kipchumba Murkomen amid criticism over the frequent blackouts at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA).
Addressing the issue during an event in Baringo county on Thursday, the Deputy President expressed his disapproval of calls for Murkomen’s resignation, deeming them unfair.
Gachagua shifted the blame for the malfunctioning generators at the airport to the previous government, asserting that Murkomen had no involvement in their procurement.
