For the past two years, Eric Omondi has spotted a physique with more muscle tone on it. This is after he made a resolution to stop being the skinny lad and add mass to his body.
So he hit the gym with the zeal of a tax collector and the rewards could be seen by all who aren’t named Khaligraph Jones.
But it is turning out that Eric’s transformation might not all be due to hard work alone. This is according to his official photographer, who goes by the name Kapedo.
Kapedo spoke to Mungai Eve on her YouTube channel and told the enterprising content creator that Eric pays him quite well for enhanced photos, without minding the number of photos on a particular shoot.
The photographer explained that he can be paid a clean 100k to do this work for East Africa’s most-followed comedian. And what are some of the things he does to enhance a photo?
”Tunaeka abs, na kakifua. Ata kuna time ule chibudi chibude alikuwa anaekwa. It’s photography, it’s all about making someone looks good… Apo ni 100k safi…”
The shutterbug who was previously a poet on Churchill Raw met Eric when he looking for a job and broke.
He said Covid-19 hit him pretty hard, so he resorted to texting several celebs asking them for photography gigs.
It was only Eric who responded.
”Nilitextingi wasee wengi. But the person who responded ilikuwa ni Eric. Eric akaniambia alikuwa na project, ilikuwa about mental health… Nikamfanyia the first pictures. After kumtumia the same day jioni, akaniambia, bro umefanya ile kitu… From that day nilianza kuwa nampiga mapicha till now.”
