It is said that Rigathi Gachagua, the deputy president, resigned before the senate’s decision. It is reported that the DP has resigned after being impeached by 281 MPs in the national assembly. There is unverified resignation letter that has been going round social media. He resigned, according to the letter, after learning that the Senate would vote unanimously against him.

Gachagua had previously declared that he intended to fight all the way to the Supreme Court. President William Ruto was held accountable by the DP for putting him through humiliations. Even as the fake letter goes round social media. According to rumors, the KK government is searching nonstop for a leader who can guarantee good relations with President William Ruto.
