A primary school headteacher lost his life after a grisly accident along the busy Kalokol-Lodwar road.
Mr.Lindsay Lime Edebe, headteacher of Sasame Primary School in Turkana, was heading to school when he met his tragic end.
Multiple sources indicate that the accident occurred after the motorcycle he was riding on lost control and landed into a ditch. As a result of the impact, the teacher sustained serious injuries. He was rushed to hospital where he died while receiving treatment.
The deceased’s body was taken to the mortuary for preservation and postmortem.
Taking to social media, many have termed Lindsay’s death as a big blow to the teaching fraternity, parents and pupils in the area.
Colleagues and friends have described him as a teacher who was always dedicated to his duties, taught pupils with diligence and served the community with great zeal and devotion.
