Police in Isebania, Kuria West have launched investigations to uncover the mystery surrounding the death of a businessman who was killed by his former employee.
The man was attacked on Thursday night as he prepared to close his shop.
According to area Police Commander, the assailiant, armed with a crude weapon, attacked the man and stabbed him. Preliminary investigations reveal that the attacker used the back door to enter the shop.
The police boss said nothing was stolen at the shop and the suspect is still at large.
A resident stated that a confrontation arose between the businessman and assailant at the shop stemming from a disagreement. Tension escalated before the suspect removed a knife and fatally stabbed the businessman.
The residents and family members rushed the victim to the nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
The motive behind this tragic incident remains unknown. Detectives ave launched an investigation to unravel any possible motives and ensure that justice is served.
