As days go by, life in Kenya continues to be very expensive and Covid-19 made it even worse with job cuts and salary cuts making things worse.
With jobs becoming less available people find themselves settling in toxic work places because of that employment cushion.
Kamene and Obinna had a very interesting discussion this morning where they wanted to know how many people would choose a high paying but toxic jobs or peaceful medium paying jobs.
Obinna said he’d rather be paid handsome amount and lack peace instead of being in a peaceful environment with bad or average pay.
“You’d really sacrifice your peace of mind for a nice office and great salary?” Kamene asked Obinna to which he responded, ‘me I want that kind of stress, come with your mood swings as my boss as long as by 24th the salary is paid. I don’t want peace.’
A number of callers were behind Obinna saying money is the only motivation they need.
