A video shared by CNN on Thursday August 31 showed a tornado that sent a car flying on a highway. A tornado that touched down in Goose Creek, South Carolina, on Wednesday August 30 sent a car flying on a highway, injuring two people.

The tornado, which was part of the remnants of Hurricane Idalia, touched down around 11:30 a.m. EST. It caused widespread damage in the area, including downed trees and power lines.

The car that was sent flying was a black sedan. It was flipped over and landed on another car. The two people inside the sedan were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The driver of the other car was not injured. The tornado was one of several that touched down in the Carolinas on Wednesday. The National Weather Service issued tornado warnings for several counties in both states.

The remnants of Hurricane Idalia are expected to continue to bring rain and wind to the Carolinas on Thursday. The National Weather Service has issued a flash flood watch for the region.
