The findings placed Uganda’s Bobi Wine as the richest musician in East Africa with a net worth of 9.6 million US dollars (Ksh 1 billion). Tanzania’s Diamond Platinum ranks as the second-richest musician with a net worth of 8.6 million dollars (about Ksh 900 million).

Uganda’s Jose Chameleone comes in third with a net worth of 8.1 million dollars (about Ksh 800 million). Kenya’s Akothee is at position four with a net worth of 7.5 million dollars (Ksh 750 million).
