A young woman has gone viral on social media after she was captured on video forcefully ejecting police officers in civilian clothing from her home. The officers, who reportedly entered the house uninvited, were confronted by the woman and a man believed to be her husband, both demanding that they leave immediately.
In the video, the woman is seen accusing the officers of lacking manners and invading their privacy. Her frustration was evident as she referred to a growing concern about police officers suddenly arresting citizens, particularly women, in their homes without following proper procedures. She mentioned the recent controversial arrest of Maverick by the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI), where officers were criticized for their aggressive tactics.
“Youâve made it a habit of just showing up in our homes to arrest us, especially when we are vulnerable, even when we’re naked” the woman said, clearly upset as she stood her ground. The officers, seemingly caught off guard by the womanâs defiance, eventually left the house without further incident.
The video, which has been widely shared on various social media platforms, has sparked debate and garnered support for the woman’s actions. Many praised her for standing up to the officers, with some expressing concern over increasing reports of police misconduct and calling for reforms in law enforcement practices in Kenya.
