Even though their Kenyan Kwanza counterpart sent a fresh invitation for negotiations, the Azimio party has now announced an end to the bipartisan talks.

In opposition to the Finance Act, 2023, the Azimio Party has declared its intention to start engaging in civil disobedience on July 7.

The leader of the Azimio party, Raila Odinga, declared during the people’s baraza on Tuesday at the Kamukunji grounds that his followers would engage in a number of acts of civil disobedience until the Finance Act was repealed.
