Junet has noted that Kenyans should not be forced with something they do not want. According to him, the opinion of Kenyans must be respected, at the same time, the vocal Orange Democratic party member of parliament noted that there can not be taxation it there is no representation.
The Lawmaker also warned the taxation debate should not be made on the roads but should strictly be left for the members of parliament themselves to discuss it.

“The issue must be discussed by the Mps, if Kenyans don’t want something that must be respected because power belongs to the people” the Suna East Constituency member of parliament added.
His remarks come at a time president Wiliam Ruto has been pushing the members of parliament allied to him to pass the Finance Bill which intriduces new taxes at the same time seeks to introduce new taxes.

Varius unions have openly declared opposition for the levy arguing that Government should first increase the salaries before the introduction of the new levy
At the same time, The Azimio la Umoja One Kenya coalition party has already declared that its members of parliament will shoot down the bill, however, it will be challenging Considering that the Kenya Kwanza Alliance controls the majority in the parliament.
