In a recent video shared on his official Facebook page, Cosmo Choi, a close associate of Deputy President William Ruto, has once again made audacious statements, asserting that the prospects of Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua, former Vice President Kalonzo Musyoka, and former Prime Minister Raila Odinga ascending to the presidency in the Republic of Kenya are doubtful.
Choi commenced by expressing reservations about Rigathi Gachagua’s presidential aspirations, contending that Kenyans are disinclined to elect another leader from the Kikuyu and Kalenjin communities after President William Ruto completes his second term. According to Choi, Gachagua’s outspoken demeanor and what he perceives as a lack of tact in his communication style could impede his chances with the Kenyan electorate.
“Kenyans are averse to having another Kikuyu and Kalenjin leader after President William Ruto. Rigathi Gachagua’s outspoken nature and his communication style are unappealing to Kenyans. He lacks an understanding of how to communicate in a way that resonates with the people,” Choi asserted in the video.
Shifting focus to former Vice President Kalonzo Musyoka, Choi suggested that Kalonzo’s lack of a consistent and resolute stance makes him unpredictable, potentially hindering his presidential ambitions.
“Kalonzo lacks a firm stand; he can shift at any moment. This lack of steadfastness in character could jeopardize his bid for the Kenyan presidency,” Choi commented.

Concerning former Prime Minister Raila Odinga, Choi proclaimed that Odinga’s era has concluded, asserting that the veteran politician has become synonymous with grievances about alleged election irregularities. Choi alleged that Kenyans perceive Odinga more as a chronic complainer than a credible presidential contender.
“Raila Odinga’s time is past. He has incessantly complained about stolen votes, and Kenyans now view him more as someone who enjoys complaining rather than a genuine presidential candidate,” Choi remarked in the video.
Choi’s video has sparked discussions and debates online, with both supporters and critics engaging in conversations about the evolving political landscape in Kenya and the potential contenders for the presidency in future elections. The assertions made by Choi underscore the dynamic nature of Kenyan politics as the nation anticipates the post-2022 political scenario.
