But The Weeknd and ex Bella Hadid aren’t officially an item again just one year after their break up.
The 27-year-old ex of Selena Gomez – real name Abel Makkonen Tesfaye – was seen leaving the 21-year-old model’s NYC apartment late Tuesday night but a source for People claims the two are not back together.

‘He is talking to Bella a lot and they’ve hung out too,’ an insider for the publication said. ‘They are not back together. There are still feelings though. Abel never stopped loving Bella.’
This comes just a day after sources close to the Canadian rapper told E! he ‘loves her still’ and feels ‘they will always have a real connection.’
The singer, songwriter and record producer was seen leaving the model’s New York apartment late on Tuesday night before sprinting to a waiting car.
Bending as if to avoid being seen, he had his cellphone clamped to his ear the whole time.

He and the 21-year-old model began dating in early 2015 but took a break in December of that same year, spending the holidays apart.
They got back together soon after and made their red carpet debut as a couple in February 2016 at the Grammy Awards.
However, it seemed they had split for good by November – but that may not be the case now.
While things aren’t official between the Starboy singer and the supermodel, People’s insider said: ‘Abel reached out to Bella… and she decided to see him and see where things go.
‘She knows that if they don’t date again, they can at least be good friends,’ the source added.
