Since the inception of the current English Premier League format in the year 1992, only six clubs have managed to compete in all the seasons without being relegated.

The competition being the most competitive in the world is very difficult to compete in as it requires highest level of performance in every match to ensure they are safe from relagation threat.

The only clubs which have managed this feat ever since include Manchester United who within that period have managed to win the league record 13 times under their great manager Sir Alex Ferguson.

Other clubs are London based clubs Chelsea, Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur even though the latter has never won the competition.

Another duo from the same city which have stayed in the always are Liverpool FC and their neighbors Everton who are faced with relagation possibility this season due to points reduction.

During every season, three bottom clubs get relegated from the Premier League and they join the Championship side who’s top three performers get promoted to the league.

During the current season the three clubs likely to be relegated include Luton Town, Sheffield United and Burnley.
