During her mother’s burial service on Thursday at AIC Kabarak in Nakuru County, Suzanne Jepkemboi, the late June Chebet Moi’s daughter, paid tribute to her mother.

Jepkemboi recalled her mother as a kind and compassionate person who was always there for everyone who needed her support.

Suzanne also shared memories of her mother and the sports and other artistic ventures she participated in when she was alive.

“Mom was an incredible sports woman whether it was hockey, swimming, golf or polo. She knew what she was doing. She always challenged me and pushed me when it came to sports,” she said.

In addition, the late June loved music, Nollywood movies, and games with crypto-passwords.

“Mom cherished listening to Michael Jackson or Boys to Men. And every time I played that music in the car for her, she would always be shocked and ask, “How do you know that song?” She also had a passion for Nollywood movies, which I will never fully comprehend. Every morning she savored a nice crypto password and a cappuccino. Despite my best efforts to assist her each time, I was never able to correctly answer the questions.

May she rest in peace.
