A section of Meru residents took to the streets on Wednesday to protest the brutal murder of blogger Daniel Muthiani, widely known as Sniper. The streets were filled with demonstrators, some of whom were captured in striking images marching alongside a casket containing the remains of the deceased, demanding justice for the slain blogger.
The protesters, armed with placards, passionately sang and marched through major highways and towns escorting the motorcade, highlighting the urgency and intensity of their call for the arrest of Daniel Muthiani’s killers.

Following the retrieval of Daniel’s remains from Marimanti Level IV hospital mortuary in Tharaka Nithi County, his relatives, community leaders, and fellow villagers joined the demonstration.
