Kapseret Legislator today morning officially opened two new classrooms at a school by the name Oscar Sudi Mixed Secondary School.
The MP arrived at the school located in Kapseret Constituency, Uasin Gishu and officially opened the two classrooms amid cheers from students.
“Officially opened 2 newly constructed classrooms at Oscar Sudi Mixed Secondary School, in Kapseret Constituency, Uasin Gishu County” reads an update issued by Sudi in part.
The legislator who has never been afraid of splashing money, also took time to talk to and encourage the students and he didn’t end his speech before announcing some interesting news to both students and teachers.
The MP first began by announcing that he will buy bread to students. However students urged the MP not to give the money to the teachers as they feared they may share it amongst themselves and forget the students.
Hence Sudi decided to purchase bread directly. He also immediately gave teachers a hundred thousand shillings in cash, not to mention another a hundred thousand shillings specifically for volunteer teachers.
