A stressed granny in Baringo county identified as Targok Kipchabas, 89 years old widow/granny has been promoted to glory. The sad news of her passing on has been brought to public attention by Baringo News, where they have highlighted it on their official socials. It has been communicated that, the deceased has been fighting hard to be given the body of her late son, who was a police officer identified as the late Paul Kipchabas for reburial, this after land dispute emerged during the son’s burial, something that she was forced to bury her son near his temporary structure inside Koroto Mixed School Compound.
The body of Paul Kipchabas was exhumed on April 9, 2021 following a court order and is still lying at Baringo County Referral Hospital mortuary Kabarnet to date. Since then, life especially health wise worsened for granny Targok, who seemed to have exhausted her words pleading with government agencies both verbally and through media outlets requesting for release of her son Paul’s body for reburial without, any avail.
The family of the late granny has issued a statement following her passing. They are currently urging friends to support them, to raise funds that would enable them accord their mother/granny a well deserving send-off. Her burial is set for next week on Tuesday. They have also pleaded with relevant authorities, to release body of their kin, the late Paul Kipchabas for reburial.
