Finally, someone has said it. We have seen, heck even experienced a situation where you’ve been called for a job interview just for formalities.
I mean, like they know who will get the position but just because of certain PR formalities they will call for an interview and pick none of the desperate Kenyans seeking for the position.
Taking to social media, comedian Owago Onyiro shared a post to HR Managers saying,
“Dear HR Managers, Please stop inviting people to interview when you already have someone in mind. To travel it costs money, cosmetics, water and electricity, clean clothes, sleepless nights, preparations and emotional expectations.”
Reposting what Owago posted, comedian Obinna echoed the same just to emphasize the point and even adding his experience in his line of work.
“It applies to anyone hiring even Event Organisers, Club Managers, Bosses, etc. Provided you wanna hire anyone and you already have your person stop wasting other people’s time and money and resources. Then when you enquire on charges and you settle for a cheaper person/brand or service provider etcetera communicate to the others and tell them ‘They are above your budget bracket or You’re just a cheap client??’ not going silent not picking calls, replying emails or texts leaving people wondering if they are the problem rem everyone has a schedule to keep up with so confirm or cancel not leaving people in between??. PUGA!!”
