Former sports CS Rashid Echesa has reacted through his official twitter page in response to the Attacks on sports CS Ababu Namwamba from president William Ruto’s allies.
According to him he disagrees with the recent attacks on the CS for Youth Affairs, Sports, and Arts Hon. Ababu Namwamba from a section of Kenya Kwanza leaders.
Embattled Sports CS Ababu Namwamba is set to appear before the National Assembly plenary on Wednesday (Tomorrow) for questioning over allegations of mismanaging his ministry.
Namwamba has written to the National Assembly and the Senate requesting to be summoned to clear the air on the accusations levelled against his ministry.
“totally disagree with the recent attacks on the CS for Youth Affairs, Sports, and Arts Hon. Ababu Namwamba. The legislators spewing those baseless claims know that the standing order to allow Cabinet Secretaries to appear to the floor of the Parliament, and answer questions was enacted, so let those people having issues with the CS Ababu Namwamba follow the due procedure and stop the sideshows”. Said Hon. Rashid Echesa.
