Stephen Letoo has responded to a section of Kenyan men criticizing her for marrying one wife.
Stephen Letoo’s reaction after public wedding Letoo married his longtime partner, Irene Renoi, in a colorful public wedding at the Ole Ntimama Stadium in Narok County on April 20.
The lovebirds’s wedding was attended by several celebrities, including politicians and media personalities.
Citizen TV journalists Linus Kaikai, Swaleh Mdoe and Ben Kirui graced the wedding.
Netizens mostly men, claimed the Citizen TV journalist was misleading men with his advice on polygamy, yet he does not rule by example.
In an interview with TUKO.co.ke, the seasoned political reporter said he was shocked by the turnout for his wedding, saying he was expecting only 10,000 people to attend.
“The turnout surprised me. I only set up space for 10,000 in the tents and was surprised to get to the stadium full. I was happy and embarrassed at the same time. Had I known there would be a lot of people who would occupy the terraces, I would have hired cleaners to wash them because they were dusty,” he said.
Will Stephen Letoo attend next Men’s Conference?
The polygamy advocate responded to men trying to dethrone him as the chairman of the Men’s Conference, telling them off.
Letoo slammed the men, criticizing him for not attending his wedding and threatening to suspend them.
“All those yapping on social media will be suspended with immediate effect. You cannot attack the chairman, yet you did not turn up for the Ole Ntimama Stadium event,” he told TUKO.co.ke.
Letoo disclosed he would be present for the next Men’s Conference, and for now, they were focused on doing CSRs. The lovebirds flew out of the country for their honeymoon.
