Homeboyz radio personality Miss Katiwa held a joint charity event with her bae Arnold Origi recently.
The popular TV and radio presenter told Mpasho.co.ke that the project was started by her bae a long time ago but this time around, they focused on the female football teams.
“This is a joint project between me and my man Arnold Origi whereby he brings these football kits such as football shoes, training kits and gloves from Norway.
He’s been doing it for many years but this time around we decided to focus on the female football teams especially the less fortunate teams,” Miss Katiwa said.
Katiwa added that female football clubs have also been representing the country well.
“I can say even more than the male football and they are still underrated with few people supporting them financially or even through sponsorships.”
Katiwa continued, “We want people to start filling up the stadiums when watching the female football matches just like the male football matches. We want them to feel supported and loved, that’s the narrative we are trying to change by giving back”
