The picture shows Ruto wearing a red shuka, a Maasai traditional garment, and a beaded necklace. He is also wearing a Maasai shuka accessorized with beads and a pair of sandals.
In the caption, Sonko wrote, “Give him a maasai name.”
The post has generated a lot of reactions from netizens, with many people coming up with creative names for Ruto. Some of the names suggested include “Olekopayon,” “Olekutenga,” and “Olmodoni”.
Ruto has not yet responded to Sonko’s post. The president visited the Maasai people on a official business. The politician did not hesitate to freely interact with the residents of the region.
