Soipan Tuya, one of the luckiest Cabinet Secretaries who survived President William Samoei Ruto’s dismissal after she was re-appointed as CS Defence expressed her joy and dedication to serve Kenyans in her new position. She previously served as CS Environment prior to dismissal.
CS Tuya was sworn in yesterday at State House, Nairobi as the CS Defence in an event led by President William Ruto. She thanked the President for according her the privilege to serve Kenyans.
Taking to her Twitter account, Soipan Tuya said, “I am forever grateful for unending grace & favor…Thank you HE President of the Republic of Kenya William Samoei Ruto for the privilege to serve this great country as Cabinet Secretary, Defence. To the People of Kenya, I promise servant leadership; I will obey, respect and uphold the Constitution of Kenya and all other laws of this Country; I undertake to hold my office of Cabinet Secretary with honour and dignity. I will perform the functions of my office conscientiously and to the best of my ability. So Help Me God”.
